Community Invited to Hep Shape the Future of the Cultural and Performing Arts Community Center

Gardnerville, NV – Douglas County Community Services invites residents to take part in a Cultural and Performing Arts Community Center Visioning Workshop on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at the Douglas County Community & Senior Center, located at 1329 Waterloo Lane in Gardnerville.
This open, interactive workshop offers community members an opportunity to provide input on the future development of the Cultural and Performing Arts Community Center that reflects the needs, interests, and values of Douglas County residents.
The evening will begin with a presentation from TSK from 5-5:30 p.m., followed by roundtable discussions from 5:30-6:30 p.m., allowing participants to share ideas, priorities, and feedback in small-group settings. The workshop will conclude with a Q&A session from 6:30-7:30 p.m. with Douglas County staff and TSK representatives.
“This workshop is about listening to our community,” said Douglas County Community Services Director Brook Adie. “We want residents to help shape a space that supports arts, culture, creativity, and connection for generations to come.”
The workshop is open to all community members. Attendees are encouraged to participate, share their perspectives, and help guide the vision for this important community asset.
