About Economic Vitality

The Economic Vitality Division is responsible for implementing the Economic Vitality Plan and working with new and existing businesses to connect them to needed economic development services and resources.

Douglas County Small Business Grant Program

Through the CARES Act, small businesses with less than 100 employees may be eligible for grant funding of up to $50,000 for working capital, PPE and retrofits.  All grants are on a reimbursement basis.  Learn more and apply.  The program closes October 29, 2020.  (Updated 10/5/20)

0-4 Employees $5,000
5-19 Employees $10,000
20-50 Employees $25,000
51-100 Employees $50,000

Businesses can receive up to $5,000 extra for reimbursement of PPE expenditures.
