Our standard is excellence and our model of success is teamwork. 911 Emergency Services is an Accredited Center of Excellence from the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) for our Emergency Medical Communications Program Emergency Fire Communications Program Emergency Police Communications Program (Soon) Since April 2015.
9-1-1 Emergency Services is the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Douglas County Nevada and Alpine County California. The department is a direct reporting unit to the Douglas County Manager. We are a consolidated regional Emergency Communications Center responsible for answering and processing emergency and non-emergency calls for service for the following eight primary agencies.
