County Offices to Close at 1 p.m.

Minden, NV – Due to severe winter weather and hazardous driving conditions, Douglas County Manager Jenifer Davidson—after consulting with Douglas County Sheriff Dan Coverley—has authorized the closure of County offices at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Aside from essential public safety, corrections, and courts, County offices will close for the day.

Sheriff Coverley advises motorists to avoid nonessential travel during hazardous driving conditions. County officials are monitoring the situation and will reopen offices when safe to do so.
