Minden, NV – Due to severe winter weather and hazardous driving conditions, Douglas County Manager Jenifer Davidson—after consulting with Douglas County Sheriff Dan Coverley—has authorized the 2-hour delayed start of County offices Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
Aside from essential public safety, corrections, and courts, County offices will operate on the delayed start.
Sheriff Coverley advises motorists to avoid nonessential travel during hazardous driving conditions. County officials are monitoring the situation and will update with new information as it becomes available.
