Effective, March 23, 2026, all applications can be submitted via our new online permitting software program, Oracle Permitting and Licensing (OPAL). At that time, you will need to register for an account prior to submitting in OPAL. The Building Division provides building plan check and inspections in a friendly, fast, and efficient manner to ensure construction meets all applicable codes.
To request public records such as plans to existing homes, please submit a Public Records Request.
To schedule a building inspection, please login to your OPAL account or email [email protected].All inspections called in prior to 3:30 pm will be scheduled for the next day upon availability.
Effective May 12, 2025, our public counter hours will be Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. You must sign in on the Ipad in the lobby of the Minden Inn.
