Notice of Request for Qualifications

for

Update to the 2017 Douglas County Master Transportation Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Douglas County Community Development Department (County) issues this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from all firms qualified to update, revise and extend the 2017 Douglas County Master Transportation Plan in Douglas County, Nevada. The County invites interested firms to reply to this RFQ by submitting a responsive SOQ documenting the qualifications and experience of the firm with similar projects. All SOQs must be received by the due date and time at the submittal location specified herein. Any SOQ received after the due date and time assigned will not be considered. All information regarding the content of the specific submittals will remain confidential until a contract is finalized or all submittals are rejected.

Budget:               $150,000.00 (not to exceed)

Due Date:              April 30, 2026 (5:00 pm local)

Submittal of Statement of Qualifications

Qualifications shall be submitted via email in PDF file format to the Project Manager at the contact listed below. Applicant shall ensure submittal is received by the Project Manager prior to the submittal deadline. Requests for Information shall also be submitted to the Project Manager via email prior to April 17th. Late submittals will not be considered.

General

This RFQ does not commit the County to enter into an agreement, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of an SOQ in response to this request or in subsequent negotiations, or to procure a contract for the project. Notwithstanding any other provision of the solicitation, the County reserves the right to:

  1. Waive any immaterial defect or informality; or
  2. Reject any or all Statements of Qualifications, or portions thereof; or
  3. Reissue the RFQ.
