FISH Accepting Donations for Those Affected by Gardnerville Ranchos Fire

Douglas County, NV – Friends In Service Helping (FISH) will be accepting donations to support those affected by the December 19 structure fire in the Gardnerville Ranchos.

Donation Drop-Off Location:
FISH Thrift Store
1561 US Highway 395 N, Minden, NV 89423
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.

FISH will be accepting food, toiletries, clothing, and monetary donations.
Please note: Used beds, bedding, large furniture, and used undergarments cannot be accepted at this location.

Individuals affected by the fire may visit the FISH store today (December 20, 2025) until approximately 3 p.m. to receive clothing and supplies to help get through the weekend. FISH may ask for identification or verification to ensure assistance is provided to those directly impacted.

Until FISH reopens on Monday, the Douglas County Community & Senior Center will also be accepting food, clothing, and toiletry donations on FISH’s behalf. Donations can be dropped off at the back of the Community Center near the roundabout.

Please note: Monetary donations cannot be accepted at the Community Center.

However, gift cards may be dropped off at the Community Center front counter through the weekend to assist those impacted by the fire.
