A Message from our County Manager on Public Closures
To the Citizens of Douglas County,

In compliance with the directives from both President Trump and Governor Sisolak, the closure of county offices is extended through April 30, 2020. We will continue to conduct essential business remotely via telephone and email wherever possible. I thank our employees for their dedication to our citizens during this emergency. We will do all we can to maintain services while complying with guidance and directives from the CDC, the State, and our local public health leaders. We are adapting and learning new ways to do business while keeping our community safe.

I thank the public for their patience and perseverance. These are trying times with significant portions of our economy shut down. People have lost their jobs. Our common prosperity is in jeopardy. We all fear for the health of our loved ones.

The duration of these emergency measures remains uncertain as the COVID-19 pandemic spreads. But I know with certainty that the timeline depends on the actions of each and every one of us.

Only you can stop the spread by staying at home and following the guidelines. Stay home for Douglas. Stay home for Nevada.
