Vacation Home Rentals

Vacation Home Rentals (VHRs) have been permitted in the Tahoe Township by ordinance since 2005. VHRs are properties that are rented on a short-term basis (28 days or less). The VHR program is designed to allow families outside of the Tahoe Region to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Tahoe and what the region has to offer. The permitting process is in place to ensure that visitors can enjoy but respect the residents' privacy who call this area "home"!
