Douglas County Back to Full In-Person Public Meetings

Minden, NV-Douglas County is once again moving back to full in-person public meetings and will no longer be providing Zoom® web conferencing and teleconferencing options for participation by the public, due to the lift in State directives regarding COVID-19. The level of risk has reduced over the last few months as COVID-19 cases continue to decline.

Douglas County Board of County Commissioners will still be livestreamed for the public to watch and public comment can be submitted in writing in advance of the meeting through the County’s public comment form by clicking on the following link: or in person during the meeting.

Douglas County Board of County Commissioner meetings have been open to the public to participate in person since April 1, 2021 with hybrid options to participate through Zoom® web conferencing and teleconferencing.

Douglas County will continue following CDC Guidance regarding COVID-19:

  • Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.
  • Unvaccinated people should continue to follow guidance to slow the spread of COVID-19.
