Offices of the Assessor, Clerk-Treasurer and Recorder Located in the Historic Courthouse Re-Open to the Public on June 10, 2020Minden, NV- The county offices located in the Historic Courthouse will reopen as of Wednesday June 10, 2020. Douglas County has provided staff with the guidance, training and equipment needed to re-open by following the operational expectations for all County facilities developed in accordance with guidelines provided by the State and Federal Government. These measures include sanitation practices, installation of plexus-glass barriers where possible, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), handwashing, signage, and social distancing.

The Douglas County Historic Courthouse public counters located at 1616 8th Street in Minden will be open weekdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. For the safety of our employees and the public, we are asking for the following:
Please do not enter building if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or are not feeling well.

For your convenience, drop boxes are located on the west side of the historic courthouse located at 8th Street. Our mailing address is PO Box 218 Minden, NV 89423. Walk-ins served on a first come first serve basis.
