Minden, NV-The county offices located in the Minden Inn will reopen as of Tuesday May 27, 2020. Douglas County has provided staff with the guidance, training and equipment needed to re-open by following the operational expectations for all County facilities developed in accordance with guidelines provided by the State and Federal Government. These measures include sanitation practices, installation of plexi-glass barriers where possible, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), handwashing, signage, and social distancing.

The Douglas County Douglas County Manager’s Office public counter located at 1594 Esmeralda Ave in Minden will be open weekdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Douglas County Community Development public counter located at 1594 Esmeralda Ave in Minden will be open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for walk-ins and appointments.

For the safety of our employees and the public we are asking for the following:

· Please do not enter building if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or are not feeling well.

· Preferably for submittals, please use drop boxes located at the Esmeralda Ave location or e-mail to building@douglasnv.us. Submittals will be accepted by mail at P.O. Box 218, Minden, NV 89423 as well.

· All in person walk-ins and appointment holders must check in at County Manager’s office upon entering the building.

· Walk-ins will be served on a first come first serve basis.

· Only two customers can be served at a one time in Community Development. All staff will wear appropriate PPE. Public is not required to wear mask or PPE but it would be appreciated. After checking in, please wait in first floor lobby until called up to second floor by counter technicians. Practice Social Distancing while waiting.

· Community Development has one appointment available to schedule every 30 minutes from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
