Douglas County Shooting Range

The Douglas County Shooting range is an open range  located at 902 Dump Road,
just before the transfer station.

• Pistol Range with distances of  25 and 50 yards
• Rifle Range with distances of 50, 100, 200, and 300 yards
• Cement Pads
• Covered tables / benches 
• Bring your own targets, target stands, and chairs
• Automatic guns with a permit only

DOUGLAS COUNTY COMMUNITY SERVICES ANNOUNCES

The shooting range has switched over to a self-pay kiosk system. The fee is $5 per vehicle, or you can get a year pass for $50 in our office at 1323 Waterloo Ln in Gardnerville

The range will be closed on the following dates for training:
Douglas County 4-H will be using the pistol side of the range from 5:30PM-7:30PM on 5/29, 6/19, 6/26, 7/10, 7/24, 8/7, 8/21, 9/1, and 9/4. 

Thursday July 17^th sun-up until noon
Tuesday July 22^nd sun-up until noon
Thursday July 31^st sun-up until noon
Tuesday August 12^th sun-up until noon
Tuesday August 19^th sun-up until noon
