Kid's Club, Grades K-6
This before and after school program offers creative arts & crafts, games, movies, drama and lots of fun in a secure environment. Held at each

Adventure Camp, Grades K-6

Ballet, Ages 3 and up
Learn ballet, as well as, enhance concentration, imagination, coordination, quick thinking, self-discipline and self-confidence.
Held at the World Gym, various days and times, Fee is $48/$59 monthly plus a monthly service fee of $15.
Introduction to the Violin, Grades 3-6
TAn opportunity for children to experience the fun of playing a string instrument and to discover if this is an instrument they might wish to continue studying.
Held at Pinion Hills Elementary School, 9/25-11/6, Thursdays, 3:30-4:10 pm, Fee is $35.
Lil Ninjas Martial Arts for Kids, Ages 4-9
We combine martial arts and performing arts with gymnastics and self defense.
Held at West Coast Martial Arts, Tuesdays, monthly, 3:45-4:30 pm, Fee is $49 per session.
Ballroom Dancing, Ages 8-12
Learn and practice the fundamentals of the Fox Trot, Swing, Waltz and many Latin dances.
Held at the Dance Workshop, Fridays, 6-6:45 pm. Fee is $45.
Karate Kids I, Ages 8-12
This structured course focuses on developing self discipline, manners, effective thinking and strong self-defense skills.
Held at High Desert Martial Arts, monthly, T/Th, 4:15-5:15 pm. Cost is $50-$65 mo.
Karate Kids II, Ages 8-12
For intermediate karate students. This class builds on the foundations learned in Karate Kids I with emphasis on physical precision, manners, effective thinking and self-defense skills.
Held at High Desert Martial Arts, monthly, T/Th, 5:30-6:30 pm. Cost is $50-$65 mo.
Kid's Quick Defense, Ages 7-12
TA comprehensive anti-bully, anti-predator program that gives kids the tools to be safe.
Held at High Desert Martial Arts, 11/1-12/6, Saturdays, 9:15-10:15 am. Cost is $135 per person.
Christmas Pottery, Ages 6-12
Your child will create a Christmas project that will make memories for years.
Held at the Recreation Annex, Mondays, December dates, Fee is $32.
Teen Dance, Grades 6-8
Dances will include D.J. music, food and fun.
Held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 10/17 and 12/12, 7-9:30 pm, Fee is $10 at the door, which includes a slice of pizza and a drink.
Fall Festival, All ages
Pick a giant pumpkin at the 4-H Pumpkin Patch and enjoy a family style carnival event.
Held at Lampe Park, 10/4, 10am-2pm, Fee for some activities.
Pumpkin Run, Ages Preschool-6th Grade
During the Fall Festival, a fun run for children will be offered.
Held at Lampe Park, 10/4, Fee is $3.
NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick, Ages 8-15
Participants compete against their peers in punting, passing and place kicking skills.
Held at Stodick Park, 9/27, 9am-12pm, FREE
Introduction to Junior Golf, Ages 5-16
Juniors will learn the basics of golf including rules, etiquette, putting, chipping and full swing.
Held at Carson Valley Golf Course, 9/6, various times, Fee is $20.
JrNBA/JrWNBA Youth Basketball, Grades 3-8
Offered for beginning to advanced players, emphasizing skill development and fun competition.
Held at the Carson Valley Middle School, Registration 10/20-11/26. Season is 1/13-3/7. Fee is $70 for 3rd-6th; $75 for 7th-8th.

Winter Break Adventure Days, Ages 6-12
Enjoy your school break with us by going on field trips, playing games, crafts and having fun.
Held various dates, 7:30am-6pm. Fee is $22 per child.
Acting Studio, Grade K-6
Students explore acting technique focusing on learning the tools for creating realistic, three-dimensional characters for the stage.
Held 10/3-12/19, various times. Fee is $140.00.
Halloween Carnival Celebration, All ages
Celebrate the spirit of make believe, a sense of community and spooktacular happenings. Festivities include carnival games, a haunted hunt and lots of treats.
Held on 1/31, 4-7 pm.
Child & Infant CPR & First Aid, Ages 10-15
Gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and children in emergency situations.
Held 9/30 & 10/7, 3:30-7:30 pm, Fee is $15.
Babysitters Boot Camp, Ages 10-13
Practice good decision making and handling real life situations through role playing and hands on activities.
Held 11/6, 10 am - 12 pm, Fee is $15.
Yoga, Ages 12 and up
Stretch yourself to a better night sleep, a healthier heart and a happier outlook.
Ongoing class held on T/F, 12:30-1:30 pm. Fee is $10 per class or punch cards are available.
The Body Cycle, Ages 12 and up
Spinning is a stationary bicycle program paired with inspirational music.
Ongoing class held on M/W/F at 6 pm; T/Th at 9 am. Fee is $10 per class, or punch cards available.
Youth Basketball League, Grades 3 - 6
This league is offered for beginning to advanced players and will emphasize skill development and fun competition.
Registration 9/18 until full. Games are Dec - Feb. Fee is 65 per child.

Introduction to Muay Thai, Ages 7 and up
Get lean, strong and tough with Muay Thai. An effective full contact fighting sport that implements punches, kicks, elbows, knee strikes and take downs.
Ongoing class held F/Sa, 5-7 pm. Fee is $10 per class, or punch cards available.
Tae Kwon Do, Ages 7 and up
Tae Kwon Do emphasizes such fundamental values as courtesy, integrity, self-discipline and a positive self image.
Held monthly various times. Fee is $12 - $25 per month.
Totally Active Teens, Grades 6-12
Shoot hoops, play volleyball, arcade games, watch TV or play video games.
Oingong, Fridays, 6:30-9 pm. Free to pass holder. Drop in $3.
