Renaissance Swordsmanship
Students will learn the basic techniques of renaissance swordsmanship and protegees fighting sticks.  Fencing and safety equipment will be provided.
Class held at the Carson Valley Middle School's Old Gym on Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30pm.  Cost is $35 for the month of September, $30 for the months of October and November and $25 for the month of December.

Introduction to Junior Golf, Ages 5 - 16
Participants will learn the basics of golf including rules, etiquette, putting, chipping and full swing.
Held on Saturday, 9/11 at the Carson Valley Golf Course.  Various times according to age. Fee is $20.

Dog Obedience
A course designed to establish good conduct and curbing bad habits in your dog. 
Held on Wednesdays, 6-week sessions from 7-8 pm at Carson Valley Middle School's parking lot and the Douglas County Fiargrounds Building. Fee is $80 per dog per session.

Clay Extruder Holiday Bowl 
Students ages 7 and up will Create a holdiay decorations that will look great all year round.  Using a hand held clay extruder to create spaghetti like strings of clay then pressing the clay into a mold. Held on Thursdays, 10/21 from 3:30 to 5:30pm, 10/28 from 3:30 to 4:30pm and 11/4 from 4 to 4:30pm. Class is held at Sapphire Wizard Fired Arts. Fee is $30. 

Tap Class - ages 9 - 13
Have fun, great exercise, learn basics of tap dancing and learn combinations.  Tap also helps with balance and coordination for all sports and other kinds of dance.
Class held on Tuesdays 9/14 - 11/30 at the Dance Work Shop. Fee is $45/month.

Ballroom Dancing - ages 9 - 13
This is a chance to learn and practice the fundamentals of the fox trot, swing, waltz and many latin dances.  Class held on Tuesdays 9/14 - 11/30 at the Dance Work Shop. Fee is $80/month

Teen Dances - Grades 6 - 8
Dances will include DJ music, food and fun!  Students must arrange their own transporation ahead of time and be picked up promptly at 9pm. 7th & 8th grade stundents must show a student ID card.  Cost is $10 and includes a slice of pizza and a drink.  Dances are held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Building from 6:30 to 9:00pm. Dance dates are 9/17, 11/19 and 1/21.

Tae Kwon Do, Ages 13 and up
Tae Kwon Do emphasizes fundamental values such as courtesy, integrity, self-discipline and a positive self image.
Held monthly on Wednesdays, 6-7:30 pm, Fee is $18/$36, drop in fee $10 per class.

Child & Infant Babysitter First Aid, Ages 10 - 15
Receive instruction and certification in child and infant CPR and/or First Aid by gaining the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and children in emergency situations. Held 6/22 from 10am - 2pm at Kahle Community Center. Fee is $15. 

Babysitter's Boot Camp, Ages 10 - 13
Share ideas with other babysitters while you get information and training you need to handle the challenges of child care.
Held 6/16 from 10am - 2pm. Fee is $15. 

Totally Active Teens Friday Nights, Grades 6-12
Shoot hoops, play volleyball, arcade games, watch TV or play video games.
Continuous, Fridays, 6:30 - 9 pm, Free to Kahle pass holders. Non pass holders fee is $3 per drop in.

Leaders in Training
This program is for teens ages 12 - 17 who want to make a difference in the community.  Leaders in training will work under the guidance of camp leaders learning what it takes to be a successful leader. Application packets can be picked up at Kahle Community Center and must be returned by June 10.

Pilates, Ages 13 and up
Gain strength, flexibility and improve your posture.
Ongoing, T/Sa, 10:15-11:30 am, Fee is $11 per class or punch cards are available.

Spinning, Ages 12 and up
Spinning is a stationary bicycle program paired with inspirational music.
Ongoing, held M/W, 7:30am. Fee is $10 per class or punch cards are available.

Philippine Stick Fighting Arnis, Ages 16 and over
Arnis is simple to learn and requires no special conditioning or raw physical strength.
Held on Wednesdays, 7:30 - 8:30 pm. Fee is $12/$16, drop in fee $8 per class.

Zephyr Cove Tennis Club

Youth Basketball Camp instructed by Advantage Basketball Camps, Ages 6 - 18
June 28 - July 1 from 9am to 5pm at Kahle Communty Center.  Cost is $125 to $195 - 2, 3, or 4 day sessions available.

Stretch yourself to a better night's sleep, a healthier heart, and a happier outlook.
Ongoing, Tues/ Fri, 12:30-1:30 pm. Fee $10 per class or punch cards available.
