Adventure Camp, Grades K-6
This camp is offered during the school breaks at

Ballet, Ages 3 and up
Learn ballet, as well as, enhance concentration, imagination, coordination, quick thinking, self-discipline and self-confidence.
Held at the World Gym, various days and times, Fee is $48/$59 monthly plus a monthly service fee of $15.
Little Miss Princess Dance Camp, Ages 4-6
This camp introduces the young dancers to many types of dance and physical activities including ballet, jazz, hip-hop and cheer.
Held at Dance Workshop, 7/8-7/10, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, Fee is $75.
Lil Ninjas Martial Arts for Kids, Ages 4-9
We combine martial arts and performing arts with gymnastics and self defense.
Held at West Coast Martial Arts, Tuesday, monthly, 3:45-4:30 pm, Fee is $49 per session.
Flips & Trix, Ages 7-12
Learn basic and advanced tumbling including back handsprings, cartwheels, back tucks, twist, trampoline and much more.
Held at Silver Spirit All-Star Cheer, Saturdays, monthly, 10-11 am, Fee is $49 per session.
Instructional All-Star Cheer & Tumbling, Ages 6 1/2-12
Children will learn the basic motions, jumps, stunting, and tumbling.
Held at Silver Spirit All-Star Cheer, Fridays, monthly, 5:30-6:30 pm, Fee is $50 per session.
Wrestling, Ages 10 and up
Come learn how to enhance and improve your current wrestling skills. Students will be learning part technique and part skills.
Held at Silver Spirit All-Stra Cheer, 5/4-5/25, Sundays, 1-3 pm, Fee is $99.
Dog Obedience, Ages 8 and up
Learn to teach your dog to obey the commands: heel, sit, stand, stay and recall.
Held at Carson Valley Middle School on Wednesdays 7-8 pm, Fee is $75 per dog
Karate Kids, Ages 7-12
This structured course uses Isshin-Ryu Karate as a basis for developing self discipline, manners, effective thinking and strong self-defense skills.
Held at High Desert Martial Arts, 5/1-5/29, T/Th, Cost is $65.
Buckaroo Horse Camp, Ages 6-15
Learn how to care for and ride horses in a safe, friendly and family atmosphere.
Held at Fremont Stables, weekly on Saturdays, 10:30am - 2:30 pm, Fee is $85 per session.
Summer Pottery, Ages 7-12
Your child will create a creative summer project that will make memories for years.
Held at the Recreation Annex, Mondays, June, Fee is $30
Ultimate UBC Body Shaping for Kids, Ages 8-17
This 6-week course will train and educate your child on the importance of exercise and good nutrition.
Held at Northwest Martial Arts, May-Aug, M/W/F, 5:30-6 pm, Fee is $129 per session.
Sagebrush Kids Sewing Camps, Ages 8-16
In these sewing camps students will learn basic sewing techniques. Sewing machines and all supplies will be provided.
Held at the Recreation Annex, July, M-F, 1-4 pm, Fee is $150 per session.
Summer School of Rock, Ages 12 and up
This program will give students a first hand look at icons such as Elvis, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, BB King and more and learn an overview of the performer's accomplishments and inspirational insights.
Held at the Recreation Annex, various dates, 10am-12:30pm, Fee is $75 per session.
Teen Dance, Grades 6-8
Dances will include D.J. music, food and fun.
Held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 5/16, 7-9:30 pm, Feeis $5 at the door.
19th Annual Kids Fishing Derby, Ages 3-12
Kick off the fishing season, May 31 and June 1 at Lampe Park. You must preregister for this event at the Recreation Office.
Held at Lampe Park, 5/31 and 6/1, various times, FREE
Mother's Day Mother/Son Dance, All Ages
Little gentlemen this is your opportunity to show mom how much you appreciate her by taking her out for an evening of dancing and entertainment.
Held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 5/10, 6:30-9 pm, Fee is $15 per couple.

Kid's Club Programs, Grades K-6
Provides a safe, enriching and exciting after school experience for your child.
Held at Zephyr Cove Elementary School, payable monthly
RAD Camp, Grades 1-6
Engaging your child in creative, fun and challenging activities is the goal for our camp leaders. Early registration is recommended.
Held 6/10-8/15, 7:30 am to 6 pm, Fee is $22 per day.
Art Workshop, Ages 5-8
Students will paint and draw, trying out various processes and materials.
Held 6/23-6/26, 1-3 pm, Fee is $80 plus a $20 material fee payable to the instructor.
Go Jump in the Lake, Ages 4-8
We will hike down the hill, around the pond, over the bridge and through the meadow on our way to Nevada Beach for some well supervised sand and water play.
Held on 6/25, 11-4 pm, Fee is $25.
Mud Camp, Ages 4-8
It's science, sensory, cause and effect and more, all in one squishy package.
Held 7/21, 7/23 or 7/24, 2-4 pm, Fee is $13 per date.
Play Camp, Ages 3 and up
These themed camps are designed with the young camper in mind.
Held various dates in July, 9am - 1pm, Fee is $90 per session.
Movie Night, Ages 4 and up
Come in your pajamas if you want, ready for pizza dinner and a movie.
Held 8/15, 6-9 pm, Fee is $15.
Mother/Son Adventure Quest, Ages 5 and up
You will meet a variety of challenges, including water, sand, mud, Shark Island and be rewarded with an unforgettable campfire and chuck wagon dinner.
Held at the 4H Camp on 6/28, 2-7 pm, Fee is $15 per person.
Get in the Act, "Broadway Bound" Performing Arts Workshop, Grades K-6
The workshop uses performing arts skills such as creative movement dance, music, drama and visual art to get the child's creative engines roaring and advance their skills in the performing arts.
Held 6/23-6/26, Fee is $145.
Child & Infant CPR & First Aid, Ages 10-15
Gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and children in emergency situations.
Held 6/11 or 6/18, 10am - 2pm, Fee is $15 per date.
Babysitters Boot Camp, Ages 10-13
Practice good decision making and handling real life situations through role playing and hands on activities.
Held 6/10, 10am-12pm, Fee is $15.
Sketchbook, Ages 9-13
We will draw what we see, people, objects, landscapes and more.
Held 6/23-6/25, 9-12 pm, Fee is $80 plus a $20 material fee payalbe to the instructor.
Tae Kwon Do, Ages 7-12
The powerful techniques taught in Tae Kwon Do are exciting and a fun way to stay fit, as well as being an excellent form of self defense.
Held monthly on Wednesday, 6-7 pm, Fee is $12/$16 per month.
Friday Nights Teen Scene, Grades 6-12
Shoot hoops, play volleyball, arcade games, watch TV or play video games.
Oingong, Fridays, 6:30-9 pm. Free to pass holder. Drop in $3.
Yoga, Ages 12 and up
Stretch yourself to a better night sleep, a healthier heart and a happier outlook.
Ongoing, W/F, various times, Fee is $10 per class.
The Body Cycle, Ages 12 and up
Spinning is a stationary bicycle program paired with inspirational music.
Held M-F, various times, Fee is $10 per class.
Introduction to Muay Thai, Ages 7 and up
Muay Thai Kickboxing is an effective full contact fighting sport that implements punches, kicks, elbows, knee strikes and take downs.

Fitness Friday, Ages 6-13
Each week, children will enjoy 30 minutes of cardio activity made fun followed by a healthy snack.
