The Discovery Center, Ages 3 - 6
This is a parent participation preschool, which focuses on the developmental needs of all children, and structures its environment with respect to each child's particular learning style. Held at Recreation Annex, Monday thru Friday. Part time is 8:30am to 12:00pm, rates are $140 monthly for 2 days, $190 monthly for 3 days, $300 monthly for 5 days.  Full time is 8:30am to 4pm,  rates are $176 for 2 days, $264 for 3 days, $440 for 5 days. Extended Day Kindergarten at the Discovery Center
Your kindergartners will have fun after school exploring, discovering and learning through play. Transportation provided from CC Meneley, Scarselli, Minden and Gardnerville Elementary Schools.  Held at Recreation Annex, Monday thru Thursday, Fee is M/W - $140, T/TH - $140, Add Friday - $50, M-F - $300 month.   Call Cindy Webb at 783-6454  or 790-1235 for more information and availability.

Mommy & Me Music for Young Children
Children will shake, tap, play and dance during the happy notes music class. Explore and experience rhythm and beat through songs, games and musical instrument play. parent participation required. Class held on Tuesdays, May 3 - 31 and June 7 - 28 at recreation annex building.  Fee is $35/May and $45/June.

Lil Tumblers
Children ages 3 - 5 will learn many different skills in tumbling and jump progressions, trampoline, and conditioning drills while having fun. Class will be held on Saturdays from 1 - 1:45pm at West Coast Martial Arts.  Fee is $40 per month. 

Lil Ninjas, Ages 4 - 9

Children will learn in a disciplined but fun environment. Class is held on Fridays from 3:45 - 4:45pm.  Fee is $59/month.

Roots & Wings Children's Center, Ages 3 to 5
A part-time developmental preschool program. We endeavor to create an environment in which your children respect themselves and others, while inviting their young minds and bodies to think, create, explore, discover and wonder! Held Monday thru Friday, Fee is $19 per day, payable monthly.

Twosday Mornings, Ages Birth to Preschool
Wanted: Parents, grandparents,and caregivers with young children who would like to spend one morning a week in the company of your peers enjoying structured and spontaneous playful experiences. Held Tuesdays, 9:30 - 11:15am, April 5 - 26, May 3 - 31. Fee is $30.

Story Time, Ages 3 to 8
Community Program Director, Carol Nageotte and Kathy Echavarria present theme based stories for children.
Held at Kahle Community Center on May 5 & May 13 from Time 9 - 9:45am. FREE 

Tot Egg Hunt
An Eggsra special day for family fun!  Bring a basket to collect eggs, climb on fire trucks, injoy our bounce house and indoor playground. Friday, April 22, 11am - 1pm at Kahle Community Center. Free. 

Kahle Play Camps, Ages 3 - up
These themed camps are designed with the young camper in mind. Camp is held from 9am to 1pm Monday - Thursday,  Art Attack, June 27 - 30, Dinosaurs Galore, July 11 - 14, Forest Fairies, July 18 - 21, Pirates of Kahle Park, July 25 - 28.  Fee is $104/week.

Mud Camps, Ages 4 - 8
Ooey, Gooey, Mud - It's science, sensory, cause and effect and more, all in one squishy package. Camp is held from 1 to 4pm. Wednesday, July 6 or Thursday, July 7.  Fee is $18/day.
