                               Mission Statement

To maintain the assigned (Vehicle Maintenance Groups) County owned fleet of vehicles and equipment in a safe and cost efficient manner and to operate a cost-efficient Motor Pool Fleet.

 
                               Major Programs Offered

Motor Pool provides vehicles to various Douglas County departments.  Vehicle Maintenance provides maintenance and repair services for County and other agency-owned vehicles and equipment.  These two divisions operate as an internal service fund and charge user departments for services performed and parts used.  The fleet of Motor Pool vehicles are purchased, maintained and rotated through an aggressive replacement and maintenance program designed to maximize the assigned assets.
