Let’s Talk Douglas County

Let’s Talk Douglas County is a weekly cable television program that airs daily on  Channel 16 in the Valley and Channel 19 at the Lake. The program is hosted by  the Douglas County Manager, and highlights actions being undertaken by the county, fun filled activites, and other happenings occurring in and around Douglas County. The host, also offers insight into the dealings of the county Government. Whether it be finalizing the county’s budget for the next fiscal year, or giving an overview of a new prescription drug program being implemented by the county. The County Manager gives a weekly analysis of what the county is doing and how it affects the residents of Douglas County.

 The County Manager is often joined by other department managers and county employees to discuss work being undertaken by various departments in Douglas County. These guests offer a different perspective of county actions and provide greater insight into another branch of county government. Past guests and co-hosts have been selected from multiple braches of county government and have included staff from Community Development and Planning, Parks and Recreation, as wells as members of the Airport Authority, to name a few.
