The County Manager serves as administrative staff for the Board of County Commissioners and provides proactive leadership support to the Board and appointed department directors. It is the responsibility of the County Manager’s Office to assist the Board of Commissioners in initiating, reviewing, and implementing county policies and programs that are responsive to the needs of the community. Accordingly, the County Manager is responsible for the executive management of those county departments placed under his charge,and works closely with elected officials to coordinate related activities and responsibilities. Through this process the values and vision for the County are implemented.
