Priorities of the Board of Commissioners
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners actively seeks to promote several priorities in order to continue to improve the quality of life in Douglas County. These goal priorities were updated as part of the County's Strategic Planning process in December 2009.
- Fiscal Stability - Douglas County will enhance the fiscal stability and financial structure of the County.
- Public Safety - Douglas County will enhance and improve the provision of public safety and related services.
- Economic Vitality - Douglas County will promote the economic vitality of the community.
- Infrastructure - Douglas County will maintain and construct infrastructure necessary to meet current and future service levels.
