DEPARTMENT OF ALTERNATIVE SENTENCING

The mission of the Department of Alternative Sentencing is to supervise, hold accountable, and allow individuals convicted of misdemeanor offenses the opportunity to rehabilitate themselves. The Department is separate and distinct from East Fork Justice Court, however, the Department’s Chief Alternative Sentencing Officer reports directly to the Justice of the Peace. The staff of East Fork Township Justice Court work closely with the Department of Alternative Sentencing and assist the Department in certain areas such as receipting probation and house arrest fees. The Alternative Sentencing Department may be contacted at (775) 782-9970.
