Transition Stage (estimated length 30 days)
Residents in this stage act as “Cautious Performers.” When your son/daughter is performing independently, progressing toward achieving personal goals, demonstrating responsible and consistent behavior, is motivated and is a positive influence in his/her group, he/she will then be granted Transition Stage status. Transition Stage is designed to give your son/daughter more responsibility and a chance to demonstrate his/her ability to successfully function at the Camp and in the community. Your son/daughter will continue to work on contracts, and identifying areas that cause conflict in his/her life. Special emphasis will be placed on family interactions. In Transition Stage, your son/daughter will begin his/her reintegration back into your home. He/she will be allowed to return home every other weekend and have limited contact with friends.
