MEDICAL SERVICES
Your son/daughter will receive medical and dental care deemed to be in his best interest and directed by our camp nurse and/or doctor. If, at any time, your son/daughter feels ill, he/she has the ability to notify a staff member. They will immediately help him/her with minor problems or in more extreme cases, initiate a referral to the camp nurse. The camp nurse handles medical requests on Mondays and Thursdays. In the event your son/daughter needs more serious attention, we will refer him/her to the camp doctor. In all cases, where a referral from the camp nurse is made to a medical doctor, you will be notified and given the option to provide transportation to a medical doctor of your choosing. If it is an emergency or you are not physically able to transport your son/daughter, to a physician of your choosing, the Camp will provide transportation to our camp doctor. In all cases we will request reimbursement from you for the service of the doctor or medication prescribed.
