Douglas County has public Transportation!  No need to wait around for your family, friends or co-workers to give you a ride.  Gain independence and let DART take you where you want to go in Douglas County.  DART has two fixed route buses that extend from Topaz Ranch Estates to Super Wal-Mart to serve your transportation needs.

You can use DART for shopping, medical visits, personal needs, access to work, recreation and much more!

To plan your next DART ride, just call 783-6456 to coordinate your location and routing schedule.  We request 24 hours advance notice to schedule a ride.  For senior (60+ years of age) medical transportation, please call for a reservation

Dart Fare Information
Rides on DART are paid in cash or with tickets purchased previously at the Senior Center located at 2300 Meadow Lane in Gardnerville.  Drivers cannot make change.  Please have correct change available at time of boarding.

Children 11 & under ride free with an adult.
