JIM A. ENEARL

Jim EnEarl was elected East Fork Township Justice of the Peace in 1994 and was sworn into office in January of 1995. He was re-elected Justice of the Peace in 2000. Prior to being elected Justice of the Peace, he retired as Captain with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office with over 17 years of service in Douglas County and 28 years in law enforcement. Jim received his Criminal Justice Degree from Santa Ana College, completed the National Sheriff’s Institute in 1981 and completed the FBI’s National Academy in 1982.

Jim received the Nevada Supreme Court’s Outstanding Jurist Award in January 2003 and currently has 1,100 hours in Judicial Education. Jim and his wife Lynn have resided in Douglas County since 1977 and have twin daughter and three grandchildren, all of whom reside in Douglas County. Jim’s mother, Rita, also lives in Douglas County.
